Instead of making opposition to the roughness of the site, we decided to comply with a sort of mimesis.

First step was to hide the building on the long front: using a grey-green brick very similar to the colour of ground and walls all around.

Second step was to make transparent the short front: the project was a big void inside to be used by neighbourhood, a sort of public passage. Besides the ground breaks, creating a slight vertical movement.

Only a solid inside to create two different parts of the whole space, giving it more flexibility: it can be used simoultaneously by children and adults too.

The building has close and open spaces (halls and porticos) which are both made by bricks, using semi-transparence in the porticos with gelosie.

The solid volume inside there are bathrooms and storage, with windows on the roof. The whole building is dinamic because of its irregularuty but quiet as a shell.

In last version of the project, plan develops a irregular but more gentle form to comply with the asperity of site and direction of public pathways across the building.
